Ramsey’s Farm Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch

Every fall we are excited to welcome the public back to the farm for lots of fall fun! Whether that be for pumpkin picking, hay rides or bonfire night events, we have fun for everyone in the family!

Come out to our patch, grab a wagon and find the perfect pumpkin for cooking, baking, carving, or painting!  Our pumpkin field is 10-12 acres and yields approximately 50,000 pumpkins each season. Our pumpkins come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. We love our pumpkins, and we hope you do too! 

There is no charge or ticket needed to pick your own pumpkins, pumpkins are charged by weight ($0.75 per pound). Some small and specialty pumpkins are sold by the piece in the tent next to the patch.

General Admission Activities

All of the following activities are included in the All-Activity Pass. Individual activity tickets are available may be purchased at the farm upon arrival.

  • Hay Rides

    Your visit is not complete without enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Brandywine Valley on a hayride. Our hayride gives you an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of our farm and the season. Hayrides are dependent on field conditions and the weather.

    Night events on the farm include an extended night time hayride through the Valley!

  • Barn Yard Animals

    Learn about the animals that live on the farm in our Barnyard Section. Feed our special Ramsey's Farm friends and learn about their role on the farm. We have chickens, cows, goats, sheep and much more.

  • Corn Maze

    Each year we create an interactive custom maze design spanning over 10 acres.

    We have added farm trivia questions that can be customized to your theme for large private groups. This works particularly well for night time (flash light) events. Call to discuss details.

  • Spookley Trail

    The Spookley Trail is a maze designed for our younger maze adventurers. Find fun and interactive Spookley the Pumpkin themed questions and activities in the maze.

  • Pumpkin Painting

    Paint and decorate your pumpkin at the farm and leave the mess with us! Painted pumpkins last much longer than carved pumpkins.

  • Farm Yard Playground

    Slide through the combine and get a chance to experience sitting in the seat of a life size corn harvester!

Bonfire Night Events on the Farm

  • Bonfire Night Events

    Night events add even more fun to the fall season! Come out for a bonfire in our picnic grove, the flashlight corn maze, and to enjoy the Brandywine Valley on an extended hayride.

    Friday, Saturday and Sunday Nights in September and October from 6-9pm. Reservations not required. Ages 4+: $15/Person.

  • Private Party Night Events

    For large groups, book your private night event at the farm! This ensures you will have a private bonfire and grill to enjoy with your group.

    Private Party Night Events Include:

    Private Bonfire, Private Grill, 4 Picnic Tables

    Base Price: $300. Includes 20 guests, $15/person after. Ages 4 and under not included in head count.

Birthday Parties

Come celebrate your child's birthday at Ramsey's Farm! Choose between a tent or shaded area in our picnic grove. Each child in the party will receive an all-activity wristband to enjoy all of the farm fun!

2 hour use of party site. Includes 4 tables. Base party package includes 10 children - no charge for infants or adults.

Your birthday party group will have its own private hay ride that will pick up and drop off at your birthday party tent.

  • Pumpkins for All Guests

Each child will go home with one small pumpkin from pumpkin patch.

  • Private Pumpkin Painting

Let the kids use their creative minds to paint fun decorations on the face of their pumpkins at your party tent.

  • All-Activity Wristbands for All Guests

Enjoy all of the farm activities with our all-activity wristband. Stay and enjoy the farm for the entire day!
